Mikko Heino - HEARSAY
Mikko Heino és un dels artistes de la segona Residència B-Murals 2025 .
L’artista estableix un diàleg entre el nostàlgic i el desconcertant, convidant l’espectador a redescobrir la màgia amagada en els detalls, elevant-los al protagonisme a través de colors plans i contorns marcats.
Mikko Heino desenvolupa a B-Murals el projecte col·lectiu HEARSAY, juntament amb l’artista Rastapunka.
El projecte HEARSAY, desnvolupat pels artistes Rastapunka i Mikko Heino, se sustenta en la lògica del joc infantil del “telèfon”. Es tracta d’un diàleg creatiu que transcendeix els hàbitats naturals de cadascun: de la pintura d’estudi de Heino al deambular urbà de Rastapunka, en un cerlce comunicatiu extes en el temps.
El procés comença quan Rastapunka captura una imatge pels carrers de Barcelona; a continuació, Heino la reinterpreta en pintura; després Rastapunka busca un motiu que remeti a aquesta pintura, i el cicle es va repetint ad infinitum.
D’aquest ritual naixen diversos “hearsays”, converses cronològiques i privades entre ambdós artistes sobre l’espai i l’entorn.
‘The Throne’ - Mikko Heino
Mikko Heino is one of the artists of the second B-M Residence of 2025.
The artist establishes a dialogue between the nostalgic and the unsettling, inviting the viewer to rediscover the hidden magic in the details, elevating them to prominence through flat colors and defined contours.
Mikko Heino develops the collective project HEARSAY at B-Murals, along with the artist Rastapunka.
‘Pushing Daisies’ - Mikko Heino
HEARSAY is the project developed by the artists Rastapunka and Mikko Heino, based on the logic of the children's game "telephone." It is a creative dialogue that transcends each artist’s natural habitat: from Heino’s studio painting to Rastapunka’s urban wandering, in an extended communicative circle over time.
The process begins when Rastapunka captures an image in the streets of Barcelona; then, Heino reinterprets it in painting; next, Rastapunka looks for a motif that refers to this painting, and the cycle repeats ad infinitum.
From this ritual, several "hearsays" emerge—chronological and private conversations between the two artists about space and the environment.
Open Studio HEARSAY
L’exposició resultat de la investigació conjunta de Heino i Rastapunka va ser del 4 al 13 de juliol. S’hi exposaven els frottages que Rastapunka va fer en les seves investigacions urbanes i les obres pictòriques de Heino, que interpretaven l’exploració urbana. A més, Mikko Heino va pintar un mural dins l’espai de Residènces B-M criticant la gentrificació i la massificació del turisme a la ciutat de Barcelona.
A l’exposició s’hi recollia un vídeo, on es podia veure el procés creatiu dels artistes, així com un fanzín amb l’explicació detallada i fotografies de tot el desenvolupament artístic de HEARSAY.
Open Studio HEARSAY
The exhibition resulting from the joint investigation of Heino and Rastapunka will be from July 4 to 13. He exposes the images that Rastapunka uses in the various urban investigations and pictorial works of Heino, which interpret urban exploration. Furthermore, Mikko Heino will paint a mural in the space of Residènces B-M criticizing gentrification and the massification of tourism in the city of Barcelona.
In the exhibition there was a video, in which we could see the creative process of the artists, together with a fanzine with a detailed explanation and photographs of all the artistic development of HEARSAY.
