PERSIANES VIVES - PLA COMUNITARI DE LA BARCELONETA
Persianes Vives és un projecte encomanat per el PIOL-Pla Comunitari de la Barceloneta (Punto de Información y Orientación Laboral del Pla Comunitari), emmarcat dins del programa Salut als Barris. Este projecte, dirigit a joves del barri, de la Barceloneta, posa en valor l’art urbà com un mitjà per a la inserció laboral i social, així com el treball per a la cohesió social i la interculturalitat de tota la comunitat.
El projecte en sí consisteix en l’elaboració de propostes de pintura mural i graffiti a diverses persianes seleccionades prèviament dels comerços del barri.
El projecte es va iniciar al setembre i té una durada fins a principis de desembre. En aquest encàrrec comptem amb dues artistes seleccionats pel grup motor (compost de representants del PIOL - Pla Comunitari, la Agencia de Salut, el Districte de Ciutat Vella i el tècnic de comerç de la Barceloneta). El Reb és un artista muralista i graffitero originari de Grècia i establert al barri de la Barceloneta. Carola Bagnato és il·lustradora i muralista argentina establerta a Barcelona.
Els dos artistes han estat formant prèviament durant els mesos de setembre-octubre als joves, el l’història de l’art urbà, les bases del graffiti i tècniques com el dibuix en sketch, espray, throw up, stencil,
esbós, murals abstractes i figuratius. Aquesta formació prèvia els serveix per a la posterior aplicació a les persianes dels cinc comerços seleccionats. Així doncs, amb l’ajuda i el suport de dos artistes, els joves dissenyen i elaboren els esbossos per a després plasmar a les persianes, tots ells amb certa uniformitat mitjançant la gama cromàtica i la temàtica afí a l’establiment que pertoca. Persianes Vives busca la participació activa dels joves del barri per que entenguin les tècniques artístiques i específiques de l’art urbà alhora que els serveix per entrar en contacte amb el barri millorant la seva estètica i aportant contingut i valor artístic als seus carrers. Promoure l'ocupació local i de proximitat.
Persianes Vives is a project commissioned by the PIOL-Pla Comunitari de la Barceloneta (Point of Information and Labor Orientation of the Community Plan), framed within the program Salut als Barris (Health in the Neighborhoods). This project, aimed at young people from the Barceloneta neighborhood, values urban art as a means for labour and social insertion, as well as working for social cohesion and interculturality of the whole community.
The project itself consists of the elaboration of proposals for mural painting and graffiti on various shutters previously selected from shops in the neighborhood.
The project started in September and will last until the beginning of December. In this assignment, we have two artists selected by the grup motor (composed of representatives of the PIOL - Pla Comunitari, the Health Agency, the District of Ciutat Vella and the Barceloneta's commerce technician). Reb is a muralist and graffiti artist originally from Grècia and established in the Barceloneta neighborhood. Carola Bagnato is an Argentinian illustrator and muralist based in Barcelona.
Both artists have been training young people during the months of September-October in subjects such as history of urban art, basics of graffiti and techniques (sketch drawing, spray paint, throw-up, stencil, sketching…), and abstract and figurative murals. Ultimately, this training is designed to teach the group how to paint the shutters of the five selected shops. Thus, with the help and support of Reb and Carola, they designed and elaborated the sketches related to each establishment - by means of the chromatic range and theme of the business - to then apply them to the shutters. Persianes Vives seeks the active participation of the young people of the neighbourhood so that they understand the artistic and specific techniques of urban art while it serves them to get in touch with the neighbourhood, improving its aesthetics and providing artistic content and value to its streets. While promoting local and proximity employment.
El Punt d'Informació i Orientació Laboral (PIOL) del Pla Comunitari de la Barceloneta és un espai per a l'acompanyament a la recerca de feina, la formació i la intermediació laboral de proximitat. El PIOL entén l’orientació laboral com un procés integral i vital que té l'objectiu de fer un acompanyament al llarg de tota la vida laboral dels veïns i veïnes per construir un projecte professional.
The Labor Information and Orientation Point (PIOL) of the Barceloneta Community Plan is a space for accompaniment in the search for work, training and labor intermediation of proximity. The PIOL understands labor orientation as an integral and vital process that has the objective of providing accompaniment throughout the entire working life of the residents in order to build a professional project.
