Chylo
Chylo (Marcin Chylinski, Olsztyn, Polònia, 1981) és un artista visual que combina muralisme, animació i instal·lació en una pràctica marcada per la hibridació de referents. Format en Belles Arts a la Universitat Nicolaus Copernicus de Torun, va desenvolupar part de la seva trajectòria a Madrid, on va consolidar un llenguatge propi influenciat pel còmic, els videojocs, les creences populars i la mitologia.
Els seus projectes exploren l’espai entre allò natural i allò hostil, descontextualitzant elements per generar noves narratives en entorns canviants. Ha participat en exposicions, festivals i residències com les del Goethe-Institut i la Universitat Carlos III (Madrid, 2021), AlcobendasCREA (2019), Arte al Cubo 2 (2018), Cultura en la Calle (2018), Festival Asalto (Zaragoza, 2016) i MulaFest (Madrid, 2016), entre d’altres.
Chylo ha estat un dels 8 artistes seleccionats en la convocatòria per a les intervencions murals a la Nau Bostik, seu de B-Murals, l'any 2025.
Chylo (Marcin Chylinski, Olsztyn, Poland, 1981) is a visual artist whose practice blends muralism, animation, and installation, marked by a hybridization of references. Trained in Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, he developed part of his career in Madrid, where he established a personal language influenced by comics, video games, folk beliefs, and mythology.
His projects explore the space between the natural and the hostile, often decontextualizing elements to generate new narratives in shifting environments. He has taken part in exhibitions, festivals, and residencies including those by the Goethe-Institut and Universidad Carlos III (Madrid, 2021), AlcobendasCREA (2019), Arte al Cubo 2 (2018), Cultura en la Calle (2018), Festival Asalto (Zaragoza, 2016), and MulaFest (Madrid, 2016), among others.
Chylo has been selected as one of the 8 artists for the 2025 mural interventions at Nau Bostik, home of B-Murals.
